    At the extraordinarily beautiful Schloss Elmau resort

    At the extraordinarily beautiful Schloss Elmau resort, cellist Gautier Capuçon and pianist Frank Braley recorded the Sonatas and Variations by Beethoven.  Michael Fine produced the recording for Warner Classics with engineer Jin Choi.  The recording is scheduled for release in the fall.

    Celebration of Alberto Ginastera's upcoming centenary

    In celebration of Alberto Ginastera's upcoming centenary, Warners-Erato will release our production of excerpts from Ginastera's Don Rodrigo with Placido Domingo.  Domingo made his US debut in this role and it is the first time he has recorded music from the opera.  Joining him is soprano Virginia Tola who also sings Ginastera's Milena.  Ana Maria Martinez, another Domingo protégé sings Ginastera's Cinco Canciones.  Gisele Ben-Dor conducts the Santa Barbara Symphony Orchestra.

    Michael conducted the Orquesta Sinfonica de la Universidad de Guanajuato

    To celebrate star violinist Renaud Capuçon's 40th birthday

    To celebrate star violinist Renaud Capuçon's 40th birthday, Warners-Erato released our production of the Lalo Symphonie Espagnole, Bruch's Violin Concerto and Sarasate's Zigeunerweisen.  Paavo Jarvi conducted the Orchestra de Paris in the first commercial recording sessions held in Paris' new Philharmonie.  Michael Fine produced with Radio Classique's Aurelie Messonier.  The recording was edited, mixed, and mastered in Michael's home studio.
